Prospective Cadets:
Do you have what it takes to be a Spartan?

Formed in 2005, Company S-1 Spartans are founded on knowledge, honor, discipline, and fraternity. Each day is a new challenge that cadets must find the personal courage to face and strength to overcome.

The mental conditioning is tough. The physical training is intense. Teamwork is essential. Freshmen band together to overcome the challenge of fish year. Soon enough, the values we founded this outfit on are not just words anymore: they are a way of life.

The outfit is predominately Navy and Marine Corps motivated and oriented, but there are also cadets from the Army and Air Force ROTCs. At the end of four years, you will have learned from the Corps what you need to effectively lead men and women as a Second Lieuteniet or Ensign.

Even if you are not motivated to earn a contract with the military and commision as an officer, you will still learn valuable leadership skills through the Corps' Drill and Ceremony program, and your degree will have a notation for the A&M Certificate of Leadership that future employers will definitely notice and respect.

You can see the results of the Corps. Will you go the easy route as a non-reg, or will you take that first step to something greater as a Spartan fish?

Are you willing to take up the challenge?

The best way to learn more about joining our outfit or the Corps in general is to talk to the cadets on the recruiting chain to the left.

Other great sources of information include the Spend the Night With the Corps program, which occurs twice weekly, except on holiday weeks. The JCAP program for Junior ROTC is also available. For Eagle Scouts, the Aggie Eagle Program will also provide a look into the Corps, as well as potential scholarships. For more information on these programs, check the Corps of Cadets website.
